In my current position as Marketing Coordinator / Administrative Assistant, my day-to-day typically involves assisting with general administrative and marketing needs of the regional (FL) office. Responsibilities include reviewing, editing, and updating proposals, reports and other various correspondences for standards and grammar. Primary duties include preparation of qualification submissions for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) for Building Envelope Design & Consulting (BEDC) Services, Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx) Services, and Civil Engineering Design & Consulting Services, with a primary focus on athletics and performance in recreational facilities. Duties also include performing tasks geared toward general business development for the Firm, including but not limited to preparation of PowerPoint presentations, proposals, event/trade show materials, and qualification packages, as well as gathering information from projects, clients, facilities, sub-consultants, etc., as needed. Additionally, as a certified Notary Public, I am able to provide my Notary Services on a professional and, over time, a personal level.
Prior to my current title, I was employed with Ross Stores, Inc. as an Assistant Store Manager (Feb 2014 – Jun 2021) where I was responsible for a variety of duties such as conducting interviews and hiring, training, and developing non-exempt Associates, scheduling of Associate working hours and task assignment, management and continuous monitoring of actual expenditures to be within budget, etc., and reported directly to the Store Manager regarding the performance of a team of 55+ employees. Role included overseeing the following divisions: Stockroom Operations, Softlines (apparel/accessories), Hardlines (home/decor), Cashier Productivity and Front End Operations, Fitting Room Operations, Store Protection Specialist (SPS) Operations, and managing of supervisors of these divisions.
